The Budding Artist Event is a one-day celebration of creativity and community, scheduled for May 31, 2025- 11:00am – 6:00.pm. This event pairs local artists with participating businesses in the Loop, transforming storefronts into vibrant galleries and market places. Artists will showcase and sell their work directly from these venues, engaging with visitors and adding a dynamic cultural experience to the district. Budding artists are defined as anyone 18 years of age and older, with 7 years or less experience in the art world. This can be artists just starting out, or those who have entered the field at any point in their lives. All mediums are accepted.

If accepted you will receive an email with instructions for payment of $50, and event placement. Business will provide spaces for artists to set up either in or directly outside of their business. Artists are responsible for providing their own 6 foot tables, materials and equipment. Be aware that there are no open outlets in your locations so come prepared. All spaces are on a first come first serve basis.
