StL Arts Chamber, artists and arts organizations are throwing a party to celebrate the bicentennial. Join the ArtFest and Ice Cream Social on Saturday, August 7 from 10AM to 2PM from Grand Center through the Hodiamont Greenway to the Delmar Loop for art, performance and ICE CREAM!
They are taking on the Guinness Book of World Records for the world’s largest ice cream social. The current record is 962 participants in an ice cream social in Italy. With Bold Spoon Creamery and Baked Bear selling ice cream, certainly, St. Louis can top that! After all, the ice cream cone was popularized right here at the 1904 World’s Fair.
Come to The Delmar Loop for fun lots of fun from 10 AM to 2 PM on Saturday, August 7th. Come stroll down Delmar and check-in with these participating businesses for art activities and treats:

Artisans in The Loop will be offering Art Demonstrations featuring Glass Artist Nina Miller and Ceramic Artist Austin Miller
Componere Gallery will feature: Shannon Corgan -plein air oil painting, Michael Young- wire wrapped jewelry, Dylan Narsh- mixed media artist, Olivia Squires- plein air and portraiture, Zoe Nicholson- mixed media artist, Chi Maddix Pena- sculpture artist. They are partnering with Zenly- CBD infused sparkling water. They will have Zenly samples and drinks to buy outside the store on this date!
Blueberry Hill will have guest saxophonist Mike Fitzgerald for live music
