The University City council has approved COCA-Center of Creative Arts’ plan for a $28 million renovation of its campus.
The renovation and expansion plan includes adding an east wing to COCA’s existing facility at 524 Trinity Ave. The new wing, which will approximately double COCA’s size, will feature a 450-seat theater, new studio space and a community commons area.
