Michael Drummond, fashion designer and star of Project Runway, curates this innovative exhibition at the intersection of fashion and art.  This exciting show highlights the work of Drummond and emerging St. Louis designers Laura Kathleen (fellow Project Runway star), Marie McInerney, Deborah Pontious, and Bob Trump.

This Saturday, catch an 11 am showing of celebrated British playwright Alan Bennett’s filmed play People at the Tivoli. “People spoil things; there are so many of them and the last thing one wants is them traipsing through one’s house. NEW ARRIVALS AT SOLE AND BLUES!

It’s back!  Join the U. City Chamber of Commerce for the second annual “A Taste Of U. City” on Thursday, May 9, from 5 – 8 pm at the Heman Community Center at 975 Pennsylvania Ave. at Olive Blvd.  This year’s event, co-sponsored by Fifth/Third Bank, also supports Operation Food Search.

Tickets are $20 plus a donation of canned goods for OFS. (Kids 3 and under are free, and 4 – 12 are only $10.)  Once inside, guests may taste a variety of food and drinks from more than 30 local restaurants and specialty food stores.  This includes beer from Anheuser-Busch, mixed drinks from Major Brands, and a full variety of ethnic foods.  The all-inclusive entry fee means there is no other cost for food or drinks.
